I have never been a big fan of gadgets. But I do have some boxes. Almost all of them contains its original content if it’s not currently in use. I must say that even this small amount of devices sometimes cause a lot of pain, because it should be stored and requires some maintenance.

My wife just told me that one day she saw our son standing on the lid of my MacBook Pro. I usually keep my laptop on the table with closed lid. And son just found something interesting on a shelf above the table. I’m so glad he is still a light little boy :-)

My camera has “died” recently. A local service can take it for diagnostic only after January 10 and repairing can take a long time. And that’s happening just before our trip. There are chances that I will spend following 6 month without my camera. Damn.

Next two days
Heading to my birth place with a short and unexpected mission. About 1.5K kilometers and almost 30 hours spent in the train. And a temperature -23* on arrival. It will be fun. Gonna read Levi’s “Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution” which is about 1400 pages.

A week ago bought my first MacBook Pro. Couldn’t decide whether I need it or not during almost 3 years. But after playing with one during 2 hours in Paris Apple Store decided that it worth buying. Not disappointed yet.
