Today is my last working day and since tomorrow I’ll go on vacation. That’s good. That’s what I need right now.
What we gonna do? The answer is simple - enjoy our small trip across the several Europe countries. Initially we wanted to spend this vacation somewhere in more warmer climate, but we’ve changed our mind. So, the long-postponed trip will include following countries: Belarus, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France. Not bad for me taking into account that I’ve never been in Europe before.
I’m not going to write any reports neither in Russian or English language, but I take my photo-camera so everyone will be given a chance to see some pictures.
My laptop is not deserve to be taken in our trip so I won’t post during the trip. But if I can I’ll make some notes to my twitter (the updates are now protected so you need to send me request and I’ll add you to my followers list).
The last week I spent working on my VocRecaptor project and did some improvements, but I’m afraid I don’t have enougth time to release this version. Anyway, who cares

Found 2 candidates to be a MS Project replacement for my home-projects: http://ganttproject.biz and http://openproj.org. There were much more programmes, but only these two have a price I’m ready to pay - $0. Let’s try tomorrow.

VocRecaptor v2.1 is published today.
There is nothing new about features, but one serious bug was fixed. The bug is related with exercises “Translation guessing” and “Definition guessing”. You might see some incorrect behaviour of timers, especially when you started exercises several times without closing the application.
I’m keep working on exercises and new features. Stay tuned.

Today I’ve bought a new domain vocrecaptor.com where I’m going to store my svr.sandlex.com website. Also I’ve mapped these blog from sandlex.wordpress.com to sandlex.com. It doesn’t work yet, but I hope in a couple of hours everything will be ok.
I’m still wondering about the http://www.gudzonhost.ru support quality. Today I have had some problems and had to ask them about some help. They’ve answered me literally in a 5 minutes and ‘ve given me all the information I requested. And it wasn’t a first time I’ve asked them to help.

My Windows died again and I didn’t managed to make it run within an hour, so I decided start using Ubuntu for programming. I’ve downloaded NetBeans 6.0.1 and it works prefectly. WTK works fine as well so I haven’t any reasons to attemts other efforts for restoring Windows.
As for
VocRecaptor I’ve started using SVN for subversioning. I will try wiki and other services which
assembla.com provides. I think it will be much convinient to use their bug tracking systems instead of FreeMind which I used to use before (and still using now).
This week I have to solve the problem with VocRecaptor - it doesn’t work on MacOS X and some versions of Linux (for example on Ubuntu with all visual effects switched on). So I was given a piece of advise - why should I always use system tray if it causes all mentioned problems? So this week I have to fix it and make a release.

Haven’t written here quite a long time. But honestly nothing special had happened these days. At the work we are still working under MGIZMO project. Sometimes I really like it, sometimes tasks are a little bit boring (especially if something goes wrong and doesn’t work straight away). Also I have a real chance to go to a business trip to US, but it’s not clear for now.
I’ve almost finished development of excersises for
VocRecaptor. So the first draft version will be released probably in a coupe of weeks. I’m really glad about it, becase I really need this program for personal use.

Here you are. VocRecaptor v1.4 is published today.
What’s now:
- When you start words editor program will inform you if the dictionary file is not set
- Now you can learn the word just making a click on recap window
I didn’t want to wait any longer and decided to make a release as soon as possible - today 
This means that I will have to release an additional intermediate version (v1.5) before version with exercises will be released.
