Today I’ve bought a new domain vocrecaptor.com where I’m going to store my svr.sandlex.com website. Also I’ve mapped these blog from sandlex.wordpress.com to sandlex.com. It doesn’t work yet, but I hope in a couple of hours everything will be ok.
I’m still wondering about the http://www.gudzonhost.ru support quality. Today I have had some problems and had to ask them about some help. They’ve answered me literally in a 5 minutes and ‘ve given me all the information I requested. And it wasn’t a first time I’ve asked them to help.

I don’t like the design of my web-site
sandlex.com again. In November 2007 when I did it I thought it was the best what I could do and I really liked it. But now I think it looks quite ugly. So I have I great wish to redesign it and make it more simple.

Hurray! Today I’ve made a huge work - I’ve prepared a web-site for VocRecaptor and made the first release of the application. The web-site is now available here - http://svr.sandlex.com and it looks quite well I’ve never made such huge work at the single day - especially I mean writing the technical guides in english. Now I’ve registered an additional e-mail address where anybody are assumed to write something concerning the project. Here this address - svr@sandlex.com. Now I need to write about all this in my livejournal and drop a link to a couple of my friends who were interested in this program early.
By the way, all graphical work (I mean making screenshots) I did using GIMP. I like this stuff.

It’s so boring today here in office. We’ve finished our current project and now just sitting, waiting and doing nothing. In spite of today is the Programmer Day, there is no any signs of celebration. I’ve read a several articles about web 2.0 style in web-design, but it didn’t help - I still have no idea how to improve my web-site. Ok. It’s time to have a lunch.

Okay. My domain name is prolonged. Now it’s time to think what to do next. First of all, I want to reorganize the structure of the whole web-site - add something and remove something. As usual, there will be collected all iformation about me. Some kind of the entry point to the Internet for me and my acquaitances. Then I have support two languages there - english and russian. Probably the structure will be different for these two groups of ppl. At least I’m going to provide a different links to my blogs according to choosen language - livejournal for russian and blogger for english. Of course, I will have to translate all the pages into these two languages. What else… Probably I will not store any pictures on my web-site anymore. Accept auxiliary images of course. So, it seems like I have to make only two or three pages No big deal.

Several days ago I received a letter about my domain (sandlex.com) expiration. In a two month my hosting will expire as well. Now I’m trying to decide whether prolong domain leasing or not. The main idea is I don’t need a web site anymore, ’cause I have already two blog accounts and one photo-blog. So I don’t want to keep my hosting (and pay for it without using it) but I think my domain will be useful some day. Let’s wait
