I’ve added ads to VocRecaptor web-site. But only to the single page - where user guide is placed. Firstly it was showing ads related with concrete, sand and such other stuff 
But after adding quite big list of additional keywords at seems like all messages became more relevant. Now it showing about english courses, java courses and so on. That’s exactly what I need. And by the way - ads on two languages - english and russian.
Yesterday I checked a statistics about the visitors. My program was downloaded by 14 people. The income from ads is still zero. Let’s wait more time.

October 30, 2007Today. What’s new:
- Added a continuation of the previous session
- Now you can check whether the store is containing the word definition you are entering or not before submit operation
- There are also several changes at the program’s web-site: news, changelog details and the link to this blog added as well
I didn’t want to make the next release of VocRecaptor without serious changes of functionality. But since the last modification (where these two features were added) I didn’t have enough time to sit down and implement all other features I want to do. At the same time these days I was trying to improve program’s web-site somehow. I didn’t manage to rebuild it seriously, but I’ve added some new features and have decided to publish a new version of the web-site. And a new version of application as well.

October 26, 2007I’ve translated VocRecaptor blog into russian language and have added Gooqle AdSense. But I like to have two advert-blocks there - with russian links and with englis hlinks. But I have no idea how I can do this whithout having two accounts. How can I do it?
CAE done
October 25, 2007I’ve passed all others parts of CAE today - reading, listening and use of english. Firstly it was expected that I will take only two first of them, but finaly organizers decided to make all today (probably because I was the only person who comes). I have no idea about the results, but it was more difficult than previous examination I took (FCE). So, let’s wait and see.
CAE writing
October 23, 2007This morning I took CAE writing examination. It wasn’t very difficult, but I didn’t know some collocations from the first task. In the part when I had to write the task was to write a program for english students in Australia. Asutralia, Australia and again Austraila Of course, it the perfect theme for me but it’s strange that I always get the tasks related to this country.

October 22, 2007I’ve started studying of the microedition java platform and even downloaded CDC plugin for NetBeans. Thus I think I will do implement VocRecaptor for PDA.
Fisrt experience with divs
October 22, 2007At the past weekend I was trying to practice in creation of the div-elements with rounded corners. As I expected to do this I just had to draw an image and to cut round corners from it. No big deal! But, I’ve spent more than hour trying to accomplish this. Fisrtly I tried to do this simple task using GIMP. But I didn’t find how to draw even the simplest images there! I mean squares and other shapes. Then I’ve tried to find it in Photoshop. I’ve found required shapes, but I didn’t manage how to draw them with desired pen color. Probably I was too sleepy or just inattentive, but finally I’ve drawn my picture using MS Word (with desired background and color of borders). Finally, I made what I wanted but I didn’t get as much pleasure from it as I expected.

There I will post all informtion about releases, features, thoughts etc. All posts will be written in russian and english language. After copying all old posts from here I’ll register there an AdSense and will try to get some money from context ads. And of course this blog will be used for getting a feedback from potential users of my program

Thoughts about AJAX
October 19, 2007During the last several days I’m reading an AJAX documentation. It’s a quite interesting theme for me. But the big problem is that I cannot apply all these knowleges somewhere right now. I was reading about it almoust a 2 weeks within one of the previous projects gap, but since that time I’ve never had a chance use it. I hope our next project will use this technology. Or probably I will use it for my own needs. But I have no idea how I can use it for example on my web-site. I have no any functionality there which can be improved with AJAX. But I will think about it.
